Orientation

An artistic and technical practice of shaping the conditions through which possibility takes form.

Process is one of the places where architecture takes responsibility for what it makes possible. Typology, transformation, and discernment do not simply organize design work; they shape the terms through which possibility becomes visible, discussable, and open to choice.

Technical systems matter when they help make those terms legible without narrowing the field of discernment. The aim is a form of practice in which increasingly powerful tools remain accountable to the worlds they help bring into being.
